Activities • Workshops/shows/2008 The most visible activities of the GMSVP are the public workshops and shows in which we participate by setting up displays and demonstrating lapidary and jewelry making techniques. Most of the operating costs of the GMSVP are supported by money from cutting and selling Geodes and other sales at shows. Treasures of the Earth shows July 17, 18, and 19 Oct 18, 19, and 20 This is the show where many members discovered our club. A great place to learn more and to expand your collection. Come out and join in the fun. We will be cutting geodes, the cabbing machines will be set up, and we will demonstrate lots of other things. We also give demonstrations and set up exhibits at the Steam and Gas Show at the Chippokes Farm and Forestry Museum. on June 7 and 8.
